TILTED HEAD

Sometimes when we want to hear better, we tilt our heads. This particular tilt is in the direction of American music, mostly contemporary, with occasional digressions into other eras. 

Tilted Head seeks to present both world and New York City premieres, as well as "second comings" of significant contemporary works. Special attention will be given to works of under-represented composers. We hope to program music that is unique in some way, regardless of any particular stylistic influence. 

 

The Tilted Head Ensemble will include a fluctuating roster of musicians, taking advantage of the superb community of contemporary classical performers in New York City.
